And Allardyce is the answer to getting us playing well...

Have you watched any of his sides over the years play well? Besides that one season when he was at bolton like 12 years ago and had an array of talent like Djorkaeff and Okocha?

Must be his premier league record which makes people think hell get us going... oh, the one he has lost more games then won, maybe its the defensive work he puts in, no surely not he has conceded more then he has scored in the prem.

Allardyce was never the answer, to ANY question at this club.

It simple.

use him.

Get him to keep us up.

then sack him in the summer.

The seasons a write off.

We go down we are in big trouble, and we can forget Bramley Moore.

We haven't won anything since 1995, so i don't think we're in a position right now for arrogance over 'manager X's' style isn't school of science.

Also Sam likes a bung - and what? The days of the Corinthian game are long gone.

Poor football coming up... Big Sam is a manager to get results, but his football is poor...

Really think we could do with some results, also the football we have played this season has been atrocious anyway. Just hope we leg him at the end of the season for someone like Silva.

I dont care about his football, honestly, if he gets results, thats all that matters, hes not a bad manager, I thought he was the right choice for England, ive no major issues with his ability to manage, its the other things that are a major concern, he utterly reeks of brown envelopes, I reckon he will get a letterbox installed in his office at FF so people can hand deliver them.

Him and Walsh are gonna take whatevers left of our money after Walsh utterly pissed the bulk of it up a wall the last 18months.

A sad, sad day this for football and a dark day in Evertons history.

I understand everyone’s frustrations to this appointment should it happen. We are a lot worse then some people actually want to admit. Big sam yeah he is corrupt etc but you know what as long as he gets us up the table I’m not bothered. We have been worse then shocking this season so I think although it’s not what we want it’s something we have to accept.
Like someone else has said there is nothing stopping moshiri sacking him come the end of the season but get behind him because unfortunately it’s happening whether we like it or not

Really hate this... I know I am going to go all @davek about this appointment, I can only apologise to everyone now.

There is no amount of results which will make me happy with this appointment.

“It is not enough to say ‘we are special’,” Moshiri said. “We don’t want to be a museum. We need to be competitive and we need to win."

Well in kid, we aren't even special now - you have just confined us to the stokes, palace, and run of the mill clubs.

Look at that record.

For context:

Moyes at Everton : 42.08%
Martinez : 42.7 %
Koeman : 41.38 %

So Allardyce has a marginally better record than Koeman with one club in his whole Premier League career. Just one.

And people think he is guaranteed to keep us up????

This is the stupidest decision this club has ever made. He averages about 10 league wins a season. F'inhell.
