Allardyce is an absolute disgrace on every level... surely at this stage we need an appointment to lift moral and inspire the fan base. Fat Sam will actually start with his stock lower than even Walter and Roberto at the [Poor language removed] end of their eras. We are doomed!!!!... and the sad reality is if this happens the club deserves it.

This might be the lowest point in my time supporting this once great club and I include being 0-2 down to Wimbledon!

Like who?? Name me a manager who is available who even wants the job! We aren't in a position to get a top name. We need someone in ASAP. We don't have time to keep searching for the golden one. Next 6 games are massive!

Look at that record.

For context:

Moyes at Everton : 42.08%
Martinez : 42.7 %
Koeman : 41.38 %

So Allardyce has a marginally better record than Koeman with one club in his whole Premier League career. Just one.

And people think he is guaranteed to keep us up????

This is the stupidest decision this club has ever made.

Every team he has managed has been a bit rubbish, i dont want him as manager but i was hoping for a more nuanced dissection please sir orly

Erm...yeah. Hes done it twice.

Unless the squad is THAT bad.

It simple.

use him.

Get him to keep us up.

then sack him in the summer.

The seasons a write off.

We go down we are in big trouble, and we can forget Bramley Moore.

We haven't won anything since 1995, so i don't think we're in a position right now for arrogance over 'manager X's' style isn't school of science.

Also Sam likes a bung - and what? The days of the Corinthian game are long gone.

There is no arrogance, I dont want this fraud involved in our club. What makes people think he will keep us up?!!? What does he have that more successful managers dont????

We wont, I REPEAT, wont be sacking him in the summer. If this is true we have gone back to him and been royally raped by him for his demands, he will be on a at least 2 year contract, probably 3 considering thats what he wanted in the first place and we told him no....

He would have took us for everything...

Its not about style, its about our expectations as a club - We haven't won anything since 1995, and this appointment might as well add another 10 years to that.

This was Moshiris biggest appointment, probably of his entire time at the club now and in the future... and he has massively messed it up.

There will be twitchy bums at Finch Farm! Lots of staff who've been coasting there for years (including Big Dunc) will likely be replaced by Sam's own men.

this part I honestly don't mind.

we owe all our former players nothing.

especially when they have over seen years and years of nothingness.

lets remember too, we are in this position PARTLY to do with these former players/coaches

If true, sad day.
The reasons,I am not listing.
Properly scraped the barrel.
That's me done, finished and the kids.
When they ask why, I will list the reasons.
Truly sad day.
Well done Bill.
