I bet Moyes has been practising his most ruthless rictus grin, for the post match presser
'I took no pleasure in that, just glad to get the three points'
but now he knows a Giant stands in his way he'll be like a little ginger rumplestillskin

Look at that record.

For context:

Moyes at Everton : 42.08%
Martinez : 42.7 %
Koeman : 41.38 %

So Allardyce has a marginally better record than Koeman with one club in his whole Premier League career. Just one.

And people think he is guaranteed to keep us up????

This is the stupidest decision this club has ever made. He averages about 10 league wins a season. F'inhell.

Break it down to just his prem record mate and its even worse reading...

Where's your twice for Premier League clubs mate?

I only see Bolton there. with over 40%

You said how's he guaranteed to keep us up...well, he kept Palace and Sunderland up.

So unless we're worse than those sides, then I don't think any manager would keep us up.

Spurs turned to Redknapp when they were in bother, after Sherwood bombed.

Redknapp/Sherwood = Allardyce/Unsworth.

Redknapp, also a figure of questionable integrity with the 2nd-hand car dealer persona.

We are in a far bigger mess than they were then.

He did more than stabilise them, by the time he left they were in the UCL and ready for a coach of outstanding quality to take them on.

The parallels are there. I don't think Sam will replicate that but we have a good chance of staying up. It's not forever.

And I'm not keen on him either but if we stay up then fine. We have a squad of players arsing about like drunks trying to find their way home after a bender. We can always pay him off if he does what he is brought in to do.

I absolutely respect and understand the strong views of blues on this btw. People care, that's terrific to see.

We dont even have a Striker to be able to play longball football.

What we gonna do, punt it upfield to Sandro? Niasse, LOL or DCL?

LOL

Just utter LOL

Honestly.

Oh well, this season was over 2months ago, lets just hope we can sack the utter shitstain in the Summer.

He did okay with just Defoe at Sunderland

Really hate this... I know I am going to go all @davek about this appointment, I can only apologise to everyone now.

There is no amount of results which will make me happy with this appointment.

“It is not enough to say ‘we are special’,” Moshiri said. “We don’t want to be a museum. We need to be competitive and we need to win."

Well in kid, we aren't even special now - you have just confined us to the stokes, palace, and run of the mill clubs.
Nothing wrong with going all davek mate. Everyone should now and again.

Even accepting we are desperate and A-List options aren't available the is a long list of better options that we could get NOW. Both Dyche and Eddie Howe would crawl over broken glass to manager our club. Both would at least be viewed as positive appointments by the media and generate fan support. This is the worst decision anyone running Everton has ever made and the bar is very, very low!
