Not in the know by any means nor will ever claim to be but was in the company of a true club legend last night at a barby and he assured me all is in hand and fans will be pleased with appointment it's definitely not a former manager wouldn't say specifically names on who it will be did say names mentioned in media are in the right area but there is a totally left field name not linked to us in media or betting markets who we are trying for, koeman was the only name we chatted about as the esk said was top target and had indicated to us early his interest only to change his mind reckons his agent had the nod over a job coming up next summer when his interest and evertons became public
All jokes about full stops aside, I can confirm this through my one source. There is a left field target nobody in the media has spoken about.

Dont want mancini i always thought he came across as a total nob-hed.
We play in the richest league in the world with the most exposure. Were the only club looking for a manager who have real cash to back them.
We need an elite manager. so throw shed loads of cash at simeone get bill and mosh to blag his head then if that fails do the same with emery

An awful lot would have to go wrong at L4 for De Boer to end up getting it as I see things.
A manager above his level of experience/capability seems to be the minimum benchmark that Everton are setting given he could have been in long ago.
They must be confident that they'll succeed in that at least as they certainly seem to be approaching this in a clinical manner.

The length of time it is taking I can't see it being someone who is out of contract. Surely it would have been sorted by now if that was the case.
Unless the issue is at the Everton end I.e. No consensus amongst the decision makers on who to appoint. I know people say it's moshiris decision alone but it may not be as straightforward as that.

How you think Emery compares with Klopp mate?
Iam liking Emery right now, he seems a possibility and it makes tonight CL final more interesting whether his appointment rides on it or not.
Klopp is a good manager but i truely think Emery would get this club back on its feet where it belongs.
This post may come back to bite me in a year but he looks the strongest candidate for me at this time

Just dropping the Mrs off to get the train and parked near this.....now I am convinced!

I've been touting for Mike Bassett ever since Martinez was sent packing, but I admit even he is looking unlikely now. If, as rumoured, we're looking at some left field candidates, I think we should put all our efforts in to securing Toby Anstis. He's got a proven track record in mediocre broadcasting and I think he is the man to take us back to the top.

Welcome Toby.

I've been keeping my own council about the new manager until something certain happens ,but I must admit I am massively in the Emery camp, but I'm worried if he is using us as a bargaining tool for a better contract at Seville that what's left doesn't excite me at all and I would probably prefer rhino.

I hope not, amateur hour if that's the case.

I'd definitely give FDB a go if Emery does not want the job.

Rather give FDB a chance than Pellegrini, if it don't work out after 2 seasons we can look for another manager.

I have a feeling that one day soon we will all see the news and think Whoaaaaa, WTF, and we will all jump up and down with excitement.
