My problem with this though, Is literally why? Bet we don't even end up with a dof - yet at least. Surely that's something which can't be rushed, especially if our main man monchi isn't coming?

Might want to wait for our Ronald to come back from his holiday and do the unveiling and press conf all at once. I'm just spectating like, might be announced earlier, but would be my guess to do it all at once.

Obviously this is way the it seems at this moment, it might seem particularly silly if with end up with no dof though and we've held out for so long for no reason. Well, I guess it gets us and the papers talking.

Agreed. I also detect a more fractious atmosphere today. As you say, the delay is causing a little twitchiness/angst which manifests itself in a departure from the usual good natured banter.
