He's a Red ffs and called us a small club amongst other things, he can sod right off. I can only assume you are a WUM or even a RS as you have posted quite a lot about the FSW.

Calm down Cheese, only asked a question.

I am a fellow Blue by the way.

I`d like the board to aim high, I`d like a shortlist like this :-

Mourinho
Simeone - Atletico Madrid
Mancini - Inter
Koeman - Southampton
Emery - Sevilla
Ancelotti
Low - Germany

Those in job I think could be tempted to the PL, I wouldn't worry about unproven PL managers.

Mourinho. Man u bound
Simeone - Atletico Madrid, lol lol

Mancini - Inter nah
Koeman - Southampton yes please
Emery - Sevilla lol another pipe dream
Ancelotti just signed for munich
Low - Germany gamble

He did not have enough time, if he had another 5 games, they would not have gone down. Just forget what he said and look at his record of the things he has won. The guy is a winner. Apart from Mourhino he is the next best manager on the list that has won things.

He would be better than Koeman and De Boer.

At the end of the day we all want us to win trophies. He is very good tactically and would be the type of manager to stick around 4+ years unlike Mourhino.

Vallodolid - 6 months
Ossasuna - 2 months
Extremadura - 2 years
Tenerife - 1 year
Valencia - 3 years
Liverpool - 6 years
Inter - 6 months
Chelsea - 6 months
Napoli - 2 years
Madrid - 7 months
Newcastle -2 months

Yeah mate Benetez REALLY sticks around doesn't he, he has had 11 jobs, and 6 of them have lasted between 2 and 7 months, only one has lasted 3 years and only one longer than 3 years

He makes Mourinho look a stable manager who stays put at clubs in comparision

Haha no change from me in putting caps in my name.

There's a game being played and not everything in the press is reported as they know it.

Many of the press have known of Jose's approach since mid April when I first mentioned it.

The story is running but not necessarily as reported.
You say our approach is genuine and I've no reason to doubt it isn't. However many papers are running with the story today, but claim 'sources' 'friends' Jose will turn us down. Do you think this to be true?
I'm certain if united offer him the job he will go there, however contrary to reports into today's press, have you heard of mourinho having shown any indication towards wanting to be manager at Everton?

Mark Hughes said he is a very experienced premiership manager, never won anything, but very experienced .

He is but with the majority of the fanbase against this it would represent a risky appointment, as RM was because a lot of people were sceptical that we would turn us in to Wigan. After the first season I was won over by RM, but the signs were there at the end of his first season.

I want de Boer, the Ajax philosophy of developing talented young players, will really suit us. Add a lasting benefit of his time here. The special one will just bring in a load of transfers and that's it. I'm sure I'd enjoy that for a season or two, especially if we win something. But I'd sooner have a long successful decade than a brilliant two years. Maybe I'm getting old.

It was a joke mate.

Jesus, didn't realise he hadn't made it 12 months in a job since he left Liverpool

Can we not all get rid of the davek avatars now that Martinez is gone? Keep getting confused as to why I'm reading a davek post that isn't total rubbish before realising it's one of a dozen other users.
I like this one best...

Watching Man U at West Ham I think they will have serious trouble beating Palace in the Cup, and I am afraid that will be the death knell of LVG, the fans will demand it.
