It is the idea that a young manager has a bit of a good run with an unfancied team, and they are all of a sudden the next best thing. The league is littered with them.

Howe might be the real deal, and I have nothing against him. In fact he comes across as a nice bloke. And obviously capable.

But at this juncture in our history, when we have a realistic chance of landing an A List (ish) manager, would rather not blow that on a bloke with 1 season under his belt in a top league.

Understood.

Honestly though, I don't see an A List manager amongst those being realistically touted. Nothing to do with negativity or being a (supposed) koppite.

I could really get behind someone like Howe, as opposed to someone like De Boer who doesn't click any boxes for me.

It's the press that assumes the club want a particular manager. When they then ask that manager and he says he's not interested, all of a sudden the club is reeling. These reporters who keep putting two and two together and coming up with three ought to go and report on The Eurovision Song Contest instead.

That reminds me - what time is it on? I need to pop out for pizzas and a nice bottle of Serbian Merlotzy.

Im starting to think we need someone to steady the ship a bit. Let the players know who is boss. A stickler for fitness levels. Tried and tested tactically. Is honest in the media part of a managers role.

The press are never right with us, never knew our transfers or the takeover. Which means Koeman is just guesswork and he not our man and his agent is using our situation for pay rises for Koeman and Frank. Good work by his agent tbf

Yes and Moyes was given 11 years to actually win something and failed. He is not a good choice. He is a terrible choice.
