NFL thread - 2020

1 more year of meathead. RBs have traditionally adjusted to the NFL quicker than almost every other position so there is more of a chance for instant impact. Plus he is good. Assuming rookie/year 2 player next year at QB, steelers will have Claypool, Harris and a rookie contract QB for the next 4-6 years.

OL is deep, plus one of those needs are Center and they always go later in the draft. That being said I was really hoping Teven Jenkins would have fell in the 2nd.

Eitenne is a good pick, can catch, run and run block. The team that really really needed him tho, the Bills.
Jags had an undrafted RB do well enough last year. They're too lacking to pick one.

As I said Pittsburgh can't block. It doesn't matter who the RB is at that point, they'll struggle.

For me RB is a pick you make when you've already filled a lot of other holes. Last year for example the Chiefs going with CEH made sense. You mention the Bills and that is also a sensible one.

that's just wrong... so is this:

It's pretty incredible what Carl Nassib has done. To be that strong to be the first man to come out as an active player in a sport that is traditionally very "macho". Thankfully the reaction has been largely positive as it should be. He's a trailblazer and I hope other athletes that have been going through what he has see this and realise that most people will support them.

Looks like some sort of deal has been made where he can maybe get a trade next year
Smart move by both sides. The Pack get to know they have to ready Love. Same as Montana-Young in effect. Whereas Rodgers was thrown in when Favre started kicking off. Rodgers started well but struggled to manipulate any 4Q comebacks - that comes with experience. He was also hampered by MM being such an ordinary coach. I guess he was royally peed off over the 4th Down FG against Tampa Bay - half a chance is better than almost no chance frankly. He knows he could have probably got the TD and given himself a chance of the 2PT Conversion. Packers were not great on the day sadly (typically - as all too often this fine side have come up one win short in the past 30 years).
