I first saw them at about half 10 ish, went to bed just after midnight they were still there. We are going through a massive solar flair storm, could very well be still around tonight.

From my back garden. Never thought I'd see them in this country. Not colourful with the naked eye but still very clear and across a large part of the sky.

I never saw them before, I woke the young lad to see it he's 8, there was great excitement, we sat out for a while drinking apple juice just watching... he wants to print out pictures to bring to school and tell his friends about sitting out in the middle of the night watching the northern lights. Life long memory.

That looks great, I've been trying to figure out how to do a time-lapse on my phone camera, I think I have it right, hopefully the lights will be visible again tonight.
