Sack Sky and donate to GOT...donations are needed
macAffee are asking me for nearly a hundred quid to continue using virus checking their service for the next three years, they can go and do one. Can anyone advise what is the best of the free bee services at present, I have been told that avasti is very good, geek advice is urgently needed(y)

Avast is brilliant, i've never had a problem with it, register with them and you get it free for 14 months ( they email you a key code )

And as for a fiewall, i just use Zone Alarm, get both and you can't go wrong in my opinion.

Any nerd who suggests anything else can bugger off. Its sound, tells you when you have virus' and sorts it out when you do. Thats all you need.

DANNY! DYLAN AND VIM ARE TAKING THE PISS OUT OF YOU MATE, BAN THEM.

www.comodo.com Superb Firewall and the best Anti-virus out there. I used to use Avast before Comodo came out with their av-software. Top notch.

The firewall for that is a right pain in the arse, its more maintenence than my girlfriend, it goes off every second. You'd swear GOT was more dangerous than Helmand Province.

It is because you have it set to learning mode. As time wears on and it remebers your desicions, it doesn't bother you. Or you could just set the options to passive, and just block incoming attempts.
