For me the second the protests start being abusive and aggressive it crosses a line.
By all means criticise and try and offer solutions but swearing at, and abusing, players and staff is so counter productive it's unreal.
Moshiri has put in serious cash but has also overseen some ridiculous recruitment decisions. But he's carrying on seemingly with the new stadium when every expert would be telling him to pause.
Do the scallies that are howling abuse really think that their behaviour will encourage better business decisions, more effort from the players or attract a new buyer? Have most of them ever made a serious business decision in their lives? Or are they simply too high on coke to even care?
This isn't Istabul where some mad fan riot will attract a local gangster to take over the club and plough money in. It's an international global sport where our history and authenticity were pretty much all we had going for us.
Of course I'm not happy with our club at the minute. Ridiculous decisions on recruitment are happening every window. From buying identikit misplaced, midfielders, useless wingers and hapless young full backs not to mention strikers that don't score.
But any action has to be peaceful. I've spent a lifetime in work fighting Tory type establishment figures. We had to remain dignified and decent. What would I have suggested? Maybe a delayed entry where fans stay outside the ground til 20 minutes or half time. Or by all means a sit in at the end but not one that's accompanied by threats and is followed by abusive actions against players.
Were the threats credible? Who knows but after reading half rhe stuff on here and other social media about the board I can easily see how it was given credence.
