where are they holding the final ?
I take it it'll be 1 of their grounds with 50 % going to the other team.... big probs, my mrs was working in the hospital in Beverwijk when they all stopped on the motorway for a pitched battle at the Zwarte Market.
she says there were seperate floors for opposing fans in the hospital with armed police stopping them from getting at each other in there. An Ajax fan died which is put doiwn as the catalyst for the more violent stuff that now goes on.

Rotterdam, as it's always been the venue for the Dutch Cup Final. Believe that both sets of supporters got 10.000 tickets, but Ajax send back 3.000 tickets, because they couldn't guarantee the safety and travel arrangements for more than 7.000 fans. Problem are the neutral tickets. There will be tickets sold to members of both firms. Also outside the ground there's expected much violence.

In all honesty, the Beverwijk battle was a disaster waiting to happen. Only surprise was that it took so many years before it actually did.

Nice quote from McClaren.

I sort of knew, when we arrived. Erevidisie. AZ Alkmaar or PSV. One of them, we would have, how you say stones. Thrown. I think. We are not just, how you say, fortunate but massive fortunate.
Lucky nobody was injured though. I'm sure that kind of thing happens more than we hear to be honest.
