not sure why valencia "need to sell" - their financial problems have been pretty much sorted out because of local government "assistance", and they will be getting a big wedge off barcelona when villa goes. banega has been much improved this season as well, £8.5 million is a silly price for someone they probably want to keep.

also would he really want to miss out on champions league football?

edit: also lol @ that "we are a latin club" comment

That was on the back of 2nd place and the CL Quarter Finals. This time round - with increased debt to manage and £4M less in Sky Prize Money and 2 fewer CL games...(plus UEFA hand outs) - I wouldn't mind betting that the next set of accounts will be frighteningly bad.

of course we could, once theirs expires then we can apply, we can apply anyway, it would get turned down but if there's has expired then we could apply for 1 at our end, couldn't see us getting 1 in the spec that they have as it would be too close to the toilet.
