Blackfriars Bridge (1896)

For me I just assume people back then were very much different to us, but the deep down core human behaviour is very much the same, the way they look at the camera, curiosity and how that is very much the same now when people walk past a news item shot in the streets.

Also I find it interesting that these people on this bridge are of the same generation to the people who built my house.

Anyone get anything older?

great link Ghost, just had a look at the Manifold Valley line footage. I've cycled along it a few times but never realised it was a narrow gauge line.

The Victorian age has always fascinated me - I think Jemery Brett's Sherlock Holmes and the mystery of Jack the Ripper are to blame for this.

This is a great find Ghost, I remember seeing some old footage of Queen Victoria as well - it's strange to see something that old.

My house is from 1905 and the stables are from 1870 so they are the same generation that built my house as well.
