On my 18th Duncan McKenzie was my hero. Gordon Lee didnt like him but I thought when he played well no one could touch him. Friggin Rivers Of Babylon by Boney M was number 1. Not my fault, there was a lot of crap music around then

was 18 in march 86. the game closest to my birthday contained many hero's but Sir Trevor of the tricky feet used to thrill me beyond belief.

Everton Results
we won the replay btw, we played spurs on the 4th in a rearranged 5th round tie, luton on the sat and then the replay against luton the following wednesday.

no.1 in uk Diana Ross - Chain Reaction

i always believed that manfred mann were no.1 when i was born but this says different.

1st game after i was born was an fa cup game against tranmere at Goodison, 62,634 saw us win 2-0, with goals from morrisey and royle...... bet coyney was there.

Player - Carsley, it was not long after my 18th, he struck that thunderbolt into the St End to beat the RS 1-0

Song - Eminem was number 1 with 'Just Lose It' the week i turned 18

Gotta hand it to Toffeeweb, they're grand for stuff like this. The squad in 97/98 sure was ropey though. Guess the only hero worth hanging your hat on was big Dunc.

The number 1 was Men in Black by Will Smith

Mamma Mia - Abba (give me strength)

Team on the matchday closest to the birthday:
David Lawson
Mike Bernard
David Jones
Mick Lyons
Ken McNaught
Bruce Rioch
Andy King
Martin Dobson
Bob Latchford
Duncan Mckenzie
Bryan Hamilton

Hero: Bob Latchford
