I don't know how it is in other nations, but here in the UK we seem to always have adverts that oppose eachother.
For example we have this type of advert:
"Get out of debt, by going IVA"
Then the very next advert we have that stupid Picture advert where that **** is borrowing 25k.
Then we have a Consolidate your loans advert. Is it any wonder that the general public is in a mess financially?
And I have just seen an advert where Ian Wright is talking about eating healthy, then straight afterwards you have an advert about Twix bar. I can see why they do it, but is it really fair. It reminds me of that scene in BTTF 1 when the Ayatolah and Reagan are arguing.
Get out of debt, or get this loan which puts you in more debt.
Eat healthy, but have this Twix too.
I think our government has to take some kind of responsibility for the commercial breaks on our tv.
