Hello,
Been a Blue since 1995 when my high school best friend and I decided we'd choose teams based on who our favorite players in the league were. We had one weekly television program that showed highlights so we chose players (and subsequently teams) according to those highlights. Andrei Kanchelskis was my guy. My buddy went with Dennis Bergkamp. Clearly, he was wrong and I was right.
Did you know: Portland has a new football pub called The Toffee Club that's full of EFC memorabilia? Two brothers from Liverpool opened it recently and it's become a great place to go catch a match.

I lurk around on Twitter and Reddit as well. Been to one match, Everton at Leicester at the start of the 2014/15 season. Hope to make it back again sometime this spring (after my little boy is born in December). COYB!
