Give blood first you tight git....

And yeah, they can have all mine apart from my eyes. I dont have a card though, just told a few people. Probably the best way really, they might be too eager to turn life support machine off otherwise....

giving blood consists of needles and i was in hospital two month back with apendicitis and had so many needles, blood tests and drips stuck into me that i now have a fear of them

tbf ive done my needles for a while the amount of times they took out the drip connector then lost a vein and had to shove it elsewhere, had another permantly stuck in the joint of my arm, so i couldnt bend it, agony.

I was that bored on hospital -

worst bit is them sticking the strap around you and when they are faffing around you feel like your about to faint because your arm looks like its about to go purple lol.

Though that was them testing blood, i presume its the same for donating.

Ever been on a drip? God that hurts, not the actual injecting but just being in your arm consistantly, i wanted it on my hand but they put it right in the middle of my arm at the joint so i couldnt bend my arm and then whenever i touched the sodding pole thing you have to move around with you i got a fecking eletric shock.

Yer i have and then they 'injected' anti-biotics in me, i could feel it just going through my body, was disgusting.

you pair of fannies!! i had 2 in the back of my hand, one in my wrist and one in the crook of my arm, they dont hurt they do feel really horrible though, spesh the crook of your arm where you can feel the tube moving when you bend your arm.
i had drips and antibiotic drips and whilst theyre not pleasant theyre not that bad, the only problem is your arm being freezing with the cold liquid constantly going through them.
the antibiotics that are iv but not via a drip hurt like a bitch though, like you're being repeatedly punched, as does the cyclizine anti-sickness - that stings like [Poor language removed], otherwise theyre fine.
i was left with blood clots all along my veins which have now turned into scar tissue and left me with a permanently collapsed vein, but it wouldnt bother me having another one!! pfft, men!

worst thing about needles is watching.
had to hold my missus up whilst they put an epidural in her back, i was looking down over her shoulder and it took them about 10 goes, there was claret everywhere.
then went in whilst they were doing the caesarian, they took the baby to one side to do whatever it is they do and then told me to come and get her, i got her and then turned round to find i was standing in the position where the doc who did the op had been standing, with my missus' stomach displayed in front of me, my stomach churned and the baby nearly ended up back where she'd come from.
one of the people in the theater was taking pics of us with our new baby and when we had them developed there was allsorts on the pics in the background, i'm sure she did it on purpose.
quite an experience childbirth and not always of the exhilerating kind, i didnt have much to say and didnt really offer much support which is why she wanted her mum in the next 2 times.

i'd never want a caesarian, Oscar did enough damage coming out the natural way (9lbs 9) and id still do it again. the thought of someone cutting through my stomach muscles is not one that appeals to me, no thankyou!

not too bad as long as they stop there but with my son they didnt and cut his head wide open from above his eye to behind his ear. 13.5cm long and 1.5cm wide on 4lb 11 baby.

Both my wife and I are set up to be organ donors in the event that we stop breathing.

(EDIT: That's permanently. Not just holding our breath for a short amount of time.)
