Are there any American Atheletes not on drugs?

now I know chambers got caught too, but wasnt he in an American training camp?

Interesting new movie out documentary style about how American society actually encourages the use of steroids on men in the attempt to be bigger faster and stronger.
 
I suspect there are a great many athletes across all sports that are on stuff. It's just that testing in sports like athletics and cycling are much stricter than in other sports so people get caught more.

Football can't sit on the high ground when the likes of Davids and Stam had bans of around 6 months for nandrolone, and with the physicality of football, rugby etc. I'd be amazed if a fair few players don't dope.
 
yeh wouldnt surprise me bruce, surprise tests 24/7 365 days a year any time?

but then some bloke could just walk into his mates house who is having a bit of a "smoke" and find himself failing drugs tests.

The one real answer to all this problem is to try to make people realise that if they ever acheive anything while on performance enhancing drugs then they havent acheived anything but to steal from others.

What Michael Johnson is doing is such an honourable thing, not many would.
 
I believe they have that in cycling already. The problem is that the cheats have managed to stay ahead of the testers so the tests don't always show up the drugs.

It is a vast improvement on most other sports though who don't even seem to bother, content to brush things under the carpet.
 

Its a shame for sports when they juice up to win stuff.

All the americans sports stars love it, and its a blight on their society. Even Marion Jones who won so much, was loved by all, and was tested so frequently was smacked up when she took 5 medals in the olympics.

You can add most Major League baseball sluggers who've hit big numbers of home runs in the recent past. Baseball finally started taking this seriously, with testing and bans, last season, and this year the home runs are significantly down across the board.
 
I am half in the mind of let them go for it. Let them juice their brains out and we will see the 100m record drop to 8 seconds, all the ballparks in MLB will have to be rebuilt to accommodate the little sluggers hitting 500feet, NBA players jumping 10 feet into the air etc etc. That would be a spectacle.

Or my real feeling come to the fore and they all need to be banned. FOR LIFE, in all sports.

I guess the one thing that stops me from letting them do whatever is that if I had children I would want them to have a fair crack without having to risk their health by doping. I'm not sure quite how realistic that is currently.
