We've won two games all season and staring at a third relegation in 14 years, so yeah. lol

In all seriousness, Wood was definitely a 'panic' buy in that we had no strikers and needed a capable one immediately, hence the overpaying.

Trippier is a really good player and so is Bruno by all accounts, though I've never seen him play. If the Brighton forum is anything to go by then Burn is a good signing too and, at the very least, an upgrade on what we have.

The French striker is a complete unknown from the point of view of the average Newcastle fan so we'll just have to hope that our scouts aren't clueless.

Hahaha.... it sounds like Aubameyang has done a Peter Odemwingie as, according to Arsenal, they don't know why he's in Barcelona lol
 
Looks like the lad from Reims we were after would prefer to stay put. Fair play to the lad tbh. Looks like we'll have to put all of our eggs into a Lingard-shaped basket.
