Yes Groucho patience is needed but it is absolutely astounding how many very poor players have been bought in the last four or five years, not only poor but slow and without energy or fight in them, and yet they cost huge sums of money, on fabulous wages but give hardly anything in return except loads of frustration.

Surprised how not one player on our team could out run any Newcastle player. When your 'thinkers' aren't performing you need some pace and power and we don't have that at all. Kenny for example. So slow. Could barely get a cross in because he was closed down so easily.

I understand the mental game to get players to perform consistently, but when they don't even have the basic tools to compete at this level then they really need to be moved on.

We might have to play Godfrey at right back for now at least he has pace even if he is not natural Kenny is deeply average. We should be looking at someone like Aarons or Lamptey someone with pace.
