Player Valuation: £950k
Just a quick well done to Alan Irvine, took on Preston when they where struggling and has done great job.(y)

Could be we`ll have to wait and see, ima theres a very good chance of seeing him back at GP next season, they have a habit of turning ingood performances when they need too

Made up for P.N.E. If they go up it'l be a nice away day next year for us. Also the links we have with them, the Moyes-Irvine links, must make them a favourite for all blues to win the playoffs

PNE made Moyes, Moyes made PNE.

Moyes helped create Irvine, Irvine is helping to create PNE, Episode 2

He's got red hair and we don't care, Davey Davey moyes.

Our gaffer already has a legacy. Ask any honest PNE fan.

Made up for him, I'm not that arsed about who goes up through the play offs but I'd be happy to welcome him back to Goodison as a Premiership manager next season

Well done to Alvin Stardust . ( My mate in the 80's was convinced that Alan was the gloved-one's doppleganger . It was so inaccurate , we kept it . He looks more like Harold , from Neighbours , to me , but Alvin it remained . )
Coo-coo ;-coo-me on Preston .

Yes. Well done Alan Irvine. You remain one of us so I celebrate your achievement. Bit like Moysie, really. Kept us up when he started and has kicked on from there.

Another angle on PNE is that it would be great to welcome back to the top flight one of the founder members of the football league after an absence that goes back to 1961. This a great club with a rich history. First to win the double. First (and last until Arsenal managed it in 2003-4) to go through a season unbeaten.

And Tom Finney was one of the all time greats - footballer and gentleman.

Also sold us a player called Howard Kendall - and the rest is history, if y'know it...

So good luck in the play-offs - I'll be rooting for you.

RIP Uncle Pete, a tragic PNE supporter.

Ive still got the 1999 home socks he gave me.

I'll never have complete admiration with any club with a stand called the Bill Shankly Kop, no matter who's managing them & how good their history is

Rest In Peace

Posted via Mobile Device Mightily impressed with his post match interview, no excuses, full of praise for United and proud of his own players. Class.
