It reminds me of a guy in wavertree always had latest games or films to sell some times before their official release,he lived by my cousin any how one night a knock on the door and three guys flash a warrant at him and confiscated all his stock and also the gear he used for copying gave him a receipt for it and said they would be back later in the day to charge him and take a statement ,The guy was gutted waited in all day and no one came so the next day his wife made him go to police station to make a statement in case they were going to add a charge for not turning up so off he goes to the local station and asked for the guy whose name was on the receipt and no one had any idea who he was or anything about the raid ,so he lost everything and was too scared to start over because he had told the local police the full story:lol:

I was talking about it last week and it must be over two years ago now,hes still going round the pub trying to find out who set him up.

I'm almost half way through downloading 'Stewie Griffin,The Untold Story ' and no poxy government threat is going to prevent me from completing the task.

If you register with your actual details then you deserve to have your internet access removed.

Surely that is the only way they could trace you.

As it says ISP's are unable to inspect every packet that travels through.

I suppose it may put a few grandmas off illegal downloads anyways.

It's a load of crap that. So what if an ISP blocks you. Go use another one!

The only thing that this will change is that, at worst, people will stop using "12 month" contracts for broadband, and go to rolling monthly contracts. Easy peasy. Might cost a couple of quid extra per month, but the savings far outweigh any extra costs. :D

How do you guys have contracts for internet access? That is bullshit! I hate contracts binding you to one service (cell phones included!). What good does having a contract do for you?
