Paypal help needed

bought something on ebay the other day and normally, paypal payment is instant. on this occasion however i am getting this;

2 Sep. 2007 Time:
13:18:43 BST Status:
Uncleared (Expected Clearing Date: 11 Sep. 2007)
Anyone any ideas why its taking so long to clear?

The only thing I can think of is recently i asked my bank for a replacement card (last one cracked) and the new one was received today, with different information (different card number etc) :huh: Was a bit surprised because thought would be same information. Would that effect the paypal payment?

not sure on usa rules, not sure on uk rules either to be honest.

direct debits having reached and breached card limit?

Depends if you linked your paypal account to your bank account, or to your card. If it is the card then you obviously need to update the info and wait for verification or some crap like that.

if ur paying through ur card... its has too clear... if its through the bank it should be instant
