I can't stand R. Madrid. They actually contrived to lose the only 3 games I've ever wanted them to win. ie. the 2 against the rs last season and the European Cup final in 1981. Bastards.

I'm not laughing or find any humor in this as Madrid are my favorite European team, I own various merchandise and have seen them play live.
I followed them years back when all the big names such as Figo, Zidane and Beckham (with apologies to Steve McManaman) were years away, and were still waiting for their first European Cup since 1966.
what I don't like however is their constant pursuit of every player on the planet when it chooses them, they're even busting their ass to get their hands on Rooney in the near future, but I don't know how far they'll get.
they should be twinned with Man City maybe, but I don't think I could stomach that.
did they try to bag Lescott at some point during last summer, I wouldn't have been surprised, but can't remember.
