Drop him for who? Funes Mori? Dont make me giggle, Mori makes 12 mistakes every game, Jags hardly puts a foot wrong, bar the occasional clanger, our captain will play today and he will perform.
He said made numerous mistakes in the past few games, including giving two pens away in one game.

Mori has been a decent signing and is 10 years younger. He deserves his chance and Jagielka is the one who needs to make way.

Hes defended well in both games, just had a few little mistakes, its very unJags like.

Mori has no future at this club.

I don't think he did, tbh.

The amount of balls he gave away in the Burnley game was by far the most of any player on the pitch.

As I said, he has been a great defender for us for the majority of his time here, that doesn't mean he should be an automatic selection for games now.

Came about partly because of the open way we played under Martinez. However, Jagielka is just hopeless...even now under Mr Defensive Koeman.

He'll be benched against West Ham, because Koeman runs a meritocracy here and he drops players in poor form in order that they have the 'wake up call' they require....wont he???

Koeman only gives shirts to players on merit...unless they're senior pros who can rock the boat for him...then he'll back down and continue to play them if they underperform.

Koeman's plainly much stronger than you give him credit for.

To be honest, I can't see that either Martinez or Moyes would have dropped Jagielka after a couple of poor games. Koeman's not perfect by a long way, but he's not scared to make decisions.
Takes some doing dropping a captain. Then again, he'd have looked a hypocrite after talking about wake up calls but just leaving that at waking up Barkley.
