My mobile is on its last legs so I need a new one and with a birthday coming up, nows a good time to get scouting.

I thought I would just get one of them iphones - then I seen the price....

So any suggestions for one that will let me browse websites and email easy enough?

Think contract might be the way forward - would need unlimited texts/internet though.

Hay - just checked - o2 dont do a iphone package with unlimited texts.

3000 mins and 500 texts a month is £73.41 a month - and thats a 24 month contract. Thats £1761.... Only Man City could afford that right now.

75 mins & 125 texts is £30 a month - and you have to pay £184.98 (16gb ) or £274.23 (32gb ) for the phone.

Most of my mates and the mrs are on o2 so £15 a month gives unlimited texts and unlimited calls. Just noticed this though;

O2 - O2 Your Family Bolt On: keep the ones you love in the loop.

  • Your Family Bolt On:
    1 person in the group pays £ 7.50* per month and 5 friends or family members get to stay in touch.
  • Your Extended Family Bolt On:
    if your family's that little bit bigger, you can add an extra 5 friends or family members to make a total of 10 for £12.50* per month.
Still looking for the catch.

yea im with orange and ive got the dolphin package on pay-as-you-go. When you top up by £10 you get 300 free texts and free internet. Theres also other packages available such as free calls and so on ..

I didnt see 1, me and my g/f were going to both join O2 for that very reason, but we just bought a house in the end.

I've recently got a Samsung M8800, the camera is excellent (8mp) which is the main reason I got it but it's good for using the internet on too, it's a touch screen that's not as responsive as my ipod touch but it's still really easy to play with.

The bad points are the lack of battery life (I have no idea what I'm going to do when I go on a coach to Europe for 3 days with Everton because I'm planning on taking loads of photos & videos & it just wont last) & the lack of text message inbox, I used to have a Nokia N73 & I had around 2000 texts on it, this makes me delete some after about 250, which is really pissing me off.

Generally speaking it's good enough, they've recently brought out a 12mp version though so look at getting 1 of those
