Everton midfielder Steve Peinaar could make his first appearance for the Club in Saturday's Premiership opener against Wigan.
The South African international was signed last month on a season's loan from Borussia Dortmund.
He joined up with his new teammates during the US training camp but has been unable to make his first appearance for the Blues because of visa issues.
It was hoped he would figure in last weekend's friendly at Crystal Palace but clearance did not come through in time.
The visa issues have now been rectified, ensuring the midfielder is available if required for Saturday's opener.
Moyes said: "Steven has looked okay so far but the problem is that we have not seen him in any games so far. We will need to think about it over the next couple of days to see what we do. We are not sure about it yet.
"We had a good start against Watford last year and we would love to do the same again.
"We would like to get three points at the beginning of what is a hard week, with games against Tottenham and Reading to come. We know it will be tough."

Good news :)

But it also says that their not sure what to do with him yet, he'll probably start on the bench due to match fitness. Am looking forward to seeing what he can do though.

i know. i don't think he will start. it was just one of those moments where you don't really think a bet through. carsley-osman-neville-arteta is likely i think to start.

2 Different types of players davidsr, Anderson is defense minded midfielder, so I'd imagine Carsley-esque tough tackler type and Pienaar is more offensive. So....Imagine Cristiano Ronaldo, I get the feeling Pienaar will do about as much tracking back as him but I'll be pleasantly surprised if he actually can tackle.

Good stuff, would be good to see him start but i think he will be on the bench with no pre-season matches under him.
