I don't really understand why people get so exercised about pineapple on pizza though. I'm pretty sure it's just because they've been told to. I wouldn't choose it, but it's not terrible, either. There are far more egregious sins against pizza, like BBQ sauce base, or baked beans, or tandoori chicken, or doner meat.

The inventor was Canadian and had such little faith in his creation palmed it off on the poor people of Hawaii. Travesty all round I reckons.

Pepperoni, Jalapeno's, red onion. American hot. Pizza is quick and easy. That's why it is so loved. Awesome beer food as well.
