The Wire is simply one of the best TV programs I've seen.
It doesn't patronise the viewer with 'Previously on The Wire' flashbacks and if you don't pay attention you can easily get lost (like the mrs does every episode).
It just tells the story and leaves it up to you if you sink or swim.
I chose to swim like a [Poor language removed].
5 series have been made so far, and I'm only halfway through series 2.
I'm seriously considering being hypnotised after so I can experience it all over again.
