Warrington is a decent League 1 player but never shown any real glimpses of getting into our first team squad . Reality is that in 3 or 4 years time he may become a PL/ Championship player , probably not, but we can’t wait that long.
I don't think he will ever be a PL player tbh. He's an ok player but we currently have and have always produced better midfielders than him.

His next move will be interesting

Let's hope Holgy can get some minutes under his belt from the bench for Soton tonight before he returns to our bosom to slot into defence with Keano and Godders after we sell Branthy next month
Maybe Holgy might be able to convince Che to join him

Please god we don't sell Branthwaite. I can't see Godfrey or Holgate as anything but decent championship centre halves anymore, or poor Premier League ones. Keane has ability, but his nerves are shot. Time for those handling our transfers to dig up another John Stones from somewhere in January.

Mason Holgate still can't get on the pitch as Southampton beat injured Lewis Warrington's Plymouth 2-1. Saints 3rd, now 6 points ahead of Dirty Leeds.

Oxford United took Stanley Mills off on the hour whilst leading 2-1. They went on to lose 3-2 at home to Derby. Oxford are 6th.

Reece Welch left on the bench all game which didn't work out too well for Forest Green manager Troy Deeney. They lost 2-1 at Swindon and remain bottom.
