Our appeal knocked that on the head.. when the commission said a P&S punishment shouldn't be more than administration.

I still can't help but think it's part of the reason why we have a heavier penalty for a lesser breach

Either our hearing is independent or it isn't and we should be able to call out the obvious discrepancy between our first result and Forest's. It shouldn't have any impact on our 2nd hearing if it truly is supposed to be independent from the Premier League.

What a complete and utter joke from the panel.

Forest showed "exceptional co-operation." Yeah so much so they just refused to sell a player for two months to actually comply with elements of FFP!!!

Complete bottlejob this considering they were going to hand them an eight point deduction seemingly.

I'm done with this season I'm afraid.

But now hopeful that the mitigating reasoning for the leniency should mean we get nothing on the second charge.

We've co-operaged, showed willingness to change etc.

That's how I'm trying to see this as a positive.

The most important thing is that we stay above Luton.

So a small points deduction for Forest makes the likelihood of no points deducted (or only 1 or 2) more likely for us on the second charge.

Meaning we've got a better chance of finishing ahead of Luton.

Good point by kieran maguire. That by index linked the 105m ceiling would by now be 218m and no club would be getting a points reduction.
They should be ceasing all points reductions as by changing the ruling its admittance their system was completely flawed. Got sympathy for forest over the johnson case. Why the hell should they have had to sell under his market value just to meet this outdated 10 year old ruling.

If our game in hand against Liverpool is rearranged (to fit their “busy” fixture list) to the final home game of the season as some are suggesting, I fear what the atmosphere in the ground may become if our PL future is at stake come that game.
