I'd actually prefer Koeman as his work at Southampton speaks for itself, despite have to sell their best players at the start of every season. I think De Boer is much more realistic, as I feel Koeman has his sights set higher than us. Just to have a manager who knows how to set up a defence will be like a breath of fresh air, and both fit the bill in that department.

Koeman, without question.

The answer to the question is Koeman.
Would not be disappointed if Frank de Boer came here either.

To all Koeman voters, I hope these magical .gifs make you use the change your vote button

But who is the "nicest" man? Managerial attributes not really that important !

There's no guarantee it will happen, and the odds are still against but it's much more than a pipe dream or rumour.
I prefer Emery anyway LOL Not that it will happen either based on how things are going

Spoke to a lad I've known for a few years who is an Ajax fan. I was surprised at just how dim a view he held of De Boer.

Reckons he didn't manage the turnover of their big players - Suarez, Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen etc replaced by John Heitinga and Ryan Babel.

Sorry to piss on the football hipsters chips.

Have you seen the money he has had to spend on replacements? He's over £60mil positive in net spend with players coming through the youth team or cheap or free signings.

If we got FDB and Koeman went back to Ajax then look at PSV dominate while Koeman is there.

Amazed koeman has so many votes, hes an average manager at best....

Because quite frankly that is how Evertonians in general see Everton. No ambition. Minimal expectation.
Heck they voted yes for the Kirkby debacle mate.
Game. Set. Match. BK and friends...

People do know, Koeman has won a bang load-off trophies at almost every club he's been at right?

Almost got valencia relegated from 3rd the previous season

finished 3rd with benfica in a 3 horse race

won a cup at feyenoord in 3 seasons

sacked after a few months at AZ

hasnt lasted over a year at 5 of 8 clubs...

hes awful.

Honestly, Benitez, Pellegrini, O'Neill or Koeman and id lose a lot of interest....id also question the sanity of the owner and board.

Short of a photo showing Moshiri speaking with the likes of Simeone or Emery, I don't think that image will change until the new man (hopefully one of Cocu or De Boer if not Emery) is installed. And even then, imagine FDB taking us to UCL, and then Barca will try to tempt him away. We can't change the image in 1 season, even Leicester can't (how many expect them to repeat or go far in UCL?), but we can lay the foundation towards that change with a good appointment.

There was mention of a DoF, so hopefully we get both positions filled with the best man we can get.
