A question that is concerning me, Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes and are now called the MK Dons, if Everton move to Kirby will they have to change their name too?

Kirkby is less than a 10 minute drive from Goodison.

Comparing it to Wimbledon is way of the mark.

We have moved twice in our histor, and only once did we change our name. We changed from the church team name to the team name you know and love now. It will not change regardless of where we move to.

Question, did Arsenal change their name when they moved from Highbury to the Emirates? Or Man City when going from Maine Road to the CoM Stadium? What about Derby or Boro or any of the other clubs who left.

Oh, CT, #2 :D :P ;)

Thing is Everton is a name drenched in history. A history that has no business in Everton. :)

We were called St Domingos while in Everton, moved to Anfield out of Everton, and then over to Walton, still out of Everton.

The only time we have the right to really call ourselves Everton in the strict sense of word is if we move to Scotty Road, the Loop.

But then Man U should be called, Salford Utd.

Hey here's a thought, why don't we get a petition sorted to expand the boundaries of Everton over to Kirkby. Problem solved. ;)
