Can't really argue with that decision. There were always going to be logistical issues with possibly the biggest event in modern British history the following Monday.

Bit lost why the Brighton game is off though. All strikes were cancelled and it was originally due to travel issues?
Heavy police presence required at the game as ever. Police resources being deployed for HMQ funeral arrangements. Apparently.

They should call it off 3 hours before the game just to annoy them traveling fans lol
They only live a tube ride away, so the RS won't have far to go. Jamie Webster is busy practising the Napoli chants that the RS will try to copyright, so he can copy and sing to adoring beauts. Jamie Redmond has been grounded for sniffing his ma's knickers, so there wont be any Scousers there, Spongebob Squarehead Robbo has gone missing yet again, he's got 2 months a colouring in books to keep him entertained, Chris Pajak isn't invited for sticking the Crayolas up his arse. So the away end will be Scouser free.

Why are some outside London going ahead and others not?
Brighton v Palace is off because of rail strikes, United v Leeds is in a higher risk category policing-wise relative to other fixtures i.e. - higher chance of it kicking off so more police presence required. Greater Manchester Police sending loads down for the funeral so assume they don't have enough left for policing the game

Hilarious to watch the English royalists defend this circus and justify the postponement of football matches for fear of a "lack of respect" when they have no issue with thousands of operations being cancelled or any "lack of respect" when the knuckle-draggers jeered the anti-racism taking of the knee. The double standards are transparent at this point.
