cooperman

Player Valuation: £10m
***hypothetically speaking**

Anyone else heard this? Moyes has been stalling for a new contract because of prearranged agreements already in place at EFC this season. Basically a big chunk of the future of EFC depends on our league finish this season.

1. we finish in the top 4.
Take over already agreed. Debt gets restructured. Moyes stays on. Kenwright stays on as honourary chairman. New owners are a consortium of North-West based business, however will allow us to keep hold of current players and add to the squad.

2. we finish outside the top 4.
Moyes goes, Kenwright stays but players sold to fund a new manager. Club looking to promote from within for new manager.

In a nutshell, a take over will happen if top4 happens, with BK staying on as a figurehead for the new consortium. Or BK stays if not.

What are people's thoughts on this?

Sounds like another Fortress Funds MK 2 with Bill sitting in the back pulling the strings of a group who can,t move the Fin needle.

No thanks.

So it's option 2 then

Thread redundant

no chance of happening mate the Redcoat and his bag of snakes wont be leaving anytime soon pal, not atleast until the fans put pressure on them in the event of performances on the pitch going bad (which would happen if moyes goes and we dont replace him with quality imo)

I can see why a 'company' may pay a bit more if we have CL next year (however likely), or less if not, but not why they'd pull out completely.

Why would a takeover depend on our league finish? It makes no sense just swerve it if we don't make top 4.

Looks like I was a few posts early.

Honestly thought, I'm not buying this, and neither are an undisclosed group of NW based businesses.
