Are you sure the profiles you're looking at actually have a profile picture? The majority don't bother with them.

No, he's correct.
I can see mine, but I can't see anyone elses after checking. They are easily checkable by using the members list, which still displays both avatars and profile pictures. It takes out the guess work.

Press the profile of anyone using a profile picture, and only the parent image is displayed.
