I know nothing about football finances so i'll keep that to the experts @catcherintherye but when we say they are losing 9 million a week isnt it more like they arent earning 9 million a week? Im guessing this is because of the lack of games and match revenue and sponsorship etc etc ?
So its not like 9 mill is being drained from the accounts, its just not going in like it normally does?
If that was expected revenue that they planned their expenditures around and it doesn't turn up then those committed expenditures will become the losses as they've lost the revenue to fund them.

Isn't it less money than the existing deal?

Yes it was, with more money paid for every kit sold.

You couldn’t have thought of a worst time to take your existing sponsors to court and enforce a deal to implement this. There’s a massive recession ahead with no travelling allowed for there foreign customers, when they are allowed to travel they’ll be spending 14 days in isolation and all games BCD.

I dont know how much they or Nike paid on that. I suspect Nike will be passing legal costs onto Liverpool when these massively increased revenues arent delivered.

In all seriousnessness as well, even when stadiums are open you do wonder what their hates will be. Massive international support taking up those high ticket options. The suppliers who buy up the tickets will probably be bust. Locals wont be paying 250 quid a ticket either.

So if it starts are they showing every game on tv or just sky and bt games?
sky and BT i think have 47 for TV, BT probably only had about 4 or so of there own picks left.....the other 45 they could be on youtube, red button whatever, but dont think its even decided yet,,but they said same type of thing about the german league that all games would be on youtube and they all ended up on BT-whatever way all games are live worldwide meaning they are on the net anyway
