sky and BT i think have 47 for TV, BT probably only had about 4 or so of there own picks left.....the other 45 they could be on youtube, red button whatever, but dont think its even decided yet,,but they said same type of thing about the german league that all games would be on youtube and they all ended up on BT-whatever way all games are live worldwide meaning they are on the net anyway
In Germany Sky DE are streaming them all free on their own website, rather than youtube. I think the intention is for normal match goers to be able to watch without paying another subscription. You can stream them if you have a VPN with a German IP, comms are German tho.

I think Bet365 streamed them over here last week.

Richard Masters, Chief Executive and head of the PL has interviewed on TV today and admitted curtailment with no relegation or promotion (and therefore IMO no title) is still most definitely on the table.

I’ve been quite consistent on this but I don’t think anyone’s getting relegated this season, otherwise clubs will just refuse to play. If it doesn’t get played, we’ll get cancellation with prize money and European places awarded on sporting merit but no titles or relegation.

Once the question is eventually formally asked, I’ve got no doubt they will not get 14 clubs prepared to carry on without fans in a stadium, which is basically impossible, never mind neutral grounds.

Tranmere threaten to sue if they get relegated on PPG when still lots of points to play for. You can see this happening everywhere.

You can void a competition and probably get away with legal challenges due to a deadly pandemic, but can you legally decide the outcome of a competition that is only 75% complete?

I’m not sure your argument stands up as you could flip it to make the exact opposite point:

You can decide a competition that is 75% complete and probably get away with legal challenges due to a deadly pandemic, but can you legally void a season that’s three quarters done?

The point is, neither position is invulnerable to legal challenges and both sides of the argument can use the pandemic as being exceptional circumstances.

Of course the position is invulnerable. Nobody has lost anything so far (mathematically relegation-wise), and nobody has won anything mathematically. On current form, Liverpool will not win the league - only on a PPG will they win it.

We have seen time and time again shocks in football, nobody can say what will happen so it can't be decided for them.

The PL is likely to complete the season. I was thinking more about the lower leagues that have used PPG and how legal arguments will be used.

The PL won’t complete the season whilst relegation is still on the table.

It’ll be curtailed if they don’t remove it as too many clubs will refuse to play. Continuing the league BCD will be voted down.

Talking in reference to Tranmere. If the league uses PPG they are relegated, yet they are 3 points off AFC Wimbledon with a game in hand. With another 12 games to play that is shocking - nobody knows what will happen in those 12 games.

Absolutely. But voiding the lower leagues brings with it arguments from clubs in secure promotion positions - their sense of grievance is every bit as valIid.

The key point is that voiding rather than PPG in Lg1/2 doesn’t create a smoother conclusion to their seasons. Both sides have legitimate arguments. It’s a legal vipers nest, in truth - which is a key reason why the top leagues in Europe are looking to finish BCD.
