Personally, I couldn't give a stuff whether it restarts or not. Can't we just give that lot the tin pot and crack on with the cricket season.
dreams of idyllic country setting, leather on willow and real ale

Well before it kicks off behind closed doors you can skip along to JLA and go to Belfast if you want

Oh FFS - I've got a flight booked from Bristol to Barcelona on the 16th of June that I was really hoping was going to be cancelled so I could claim the money back because the event I'm going to in Barcelona has been cancelled.

You will be able to claim it back. You should be able to do it if you try now as tourists aren’t allowed in to Spain until 1st July.

When you are due to go, travel is not allowed.

is it with easyjet ? If so I would just wait until it’s cancelled by them as they will charge you a cancellation fee or will at least try , getting money back is a whole new ball game was going to Berlin out with easyJet back with Ryanair in May both cancelled by them .
Trying to get a refund is a pain with Ryanair vaguely saying there not processing refunds until this is over due to lack of staff and in the meantime here’s your voucher . As the poster after said can’t see it going if your not allowed by the authorities in Spain

Thanks both of you, didn't realise Spain still weren't allowing people in. I'll wait.

Flights , holidays , garden centres , diy etc aren’t essential so let’s just wait until zero deaths , the whole reason for the lockdown was not to get to zero deaths it was to stop the health service being overwhelmed life was put on hold rightly so but it’s always been known on the decrease things would have to get back to some sort of normality gradually but he appears to not get that , well has massive opposition to it

The point of the death rate was to flatten the death rate to an acceptable level. The ONS data today show over 4000 deaths last week, at an average over the week of over 600 per day.

Germany never went about a rolling average of 200 per day even in their peak. France didn't get to 600 deaths per day at their peak and their government rightly stepped in and said sport is unsafe in this context, and the season needs to be ended.

These cannot be squared with an approach that football is safe to return. If you look at the international evidence it's not. The only people who think it is, are the Prime Minister and his advisor(s). After (specifically) the last few days, if you think those 2 have any idea of safety over and above the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, then you're not saveable I'm afraid.

We are living through an absolute catastrophe and putting a defence of it is unwarranted,

See games are starting back up this week in Denmark and Claus Thomsen has apparently said there will be fans back in the stadiums soon! (Not straight away)

Serie A starting up later this month apparently too BCD.

Who the feck gives a toss anyway?

The Big Red army because they all think that we've been sat here praying that football is cancelled across the world forever.

No I love the game and to be honest I've missed it. Some on here, you'd think they hate the game going on about not missing it etc.

I get that some are only bothered about thier club and nothing else, but come on. It's the love of the club or the game that got us all invested and is, like it or not, the main reason your on this website so why try to be cool and make out you can do without it?

How is it “trying to be cool” to say that we’re not missing football? You can still care about the club you’ve supported your whole life without being buzzing for Sassuolo v Atalanta at an empty San Siro.
