Protests against the board

I do agree with Furey, that the elephant in the room in sale chat is the stadium.

No new owner, unless they're an oil state, will be interested in funding the rest of that, and purchasing the club.

The conversation when it's built is a lot easier to have.
The stadium will be a key asset that will attract investors. Even if they buy after the completion, there will still be some debt due to the stadium

It's all about the price for me. If it's realistic, there will be interest

If the asking price is reasonable, then I have no doubts there will be interested buyers.

There will be interested buyers for sure. Let's say the club is worth 400 mil as per reports. That's probably reasonable for a PL club (I think, who knows?)... But on top of that you have to take on the debt of building a new stadium, that's reportedly going to cost around 700 mil.

That means any new owner basically has to invest over a billion. We'd need oligarchs or a state for that I reckon.

I don't argue it'll be an attractive prospect, and there will be some debt associated.

I just think its a hard sell, and if the reports about the price Moshiri was looking for, with the cost of stadium completion on top, was correct I wouldn't say its anywhere near realistic for where we are as a football club.

Which is Ironic, because where we are is down to Moshiri, Kenwright et al.

I would have thought maybe the opposite. Any new investor is going to have to come up with the cash not only for the club, but for the stadium as well.

That Kenwright is still lingering, and nothing is being communicated about it, reinforces the thought that he doesn't care about fans, just himself. If any shop/pub/business treated customers that way they'd go out of business quickly. He is trading on the loyalty of fans to the club and it sickens me
Have the protests stopped now because of one poxy message from a deluded majority shareholder?
Is this it? Do we have to watch that slug cut the ribbon at BMD having made a miraculous recovery from his evasivitis?
