Torontonian

Player Valuation: £150k
Hey all my name is Norm, proud Canadian and have been a fan of Everton since the tail end of the 2012-13 season, the last for David Moyes.

When deciding which Premier league team i should follow i used the typical formula that I've read others have used, look for a team just outside the top but nowhere near the bottom with a history of winning but just as ive seen others respond you don't choose to be an Everton fan your born an Evertonian.

That's why when i found out an Everton fan refers to themselves as Evertonians the connection to my hometown Toronto made my decision a no-brainer. But it was almost too eerie how similar the stories of a Torontonian (one that bleeds blue and white and continues to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs despite not having won a title or trophy since 1967) and a Evertonian (one that bleeds blue and continues to cheer for their team despite not having won a trophy since 1995 or a league title since 86-87).

We may share a trophy drought but our passion and commitment to our teams made me certain that I wasnt just an Everton fan, but an adopted Evertonian and that a return to championship glory would be in the cards for both my hometown Maple Leafs and my adopted team Everton.
