That's a good point.Ha Ha Ha.
Oh, that good then.
FFS, splitting hairs over 11th or 10th.
We shouldn't be talking about last year while we are 14th and sinking down the league like a stone thrown into a pond.
What a crap manager he is.

Did we ever got 10 without a win under carlo though? With the potential to be 12 given the fixtures.
Injuries have been grim, but injuries aren't the only reason we haven't won in 10
Let's start with that fat heap of sh1t upfront who keeps playing games
I think I do since you won't answer the question.I dont think you've got the hang of this debate stuff.
We had 1 win in 8 under Ancelotti last season which was against Fulham who were probably the worst side in the league at the time. In our last 8 games we have only beaten norwich who were probably the worst team in the league.Did we ever got 10 without a win under carlo though? With the potential to be 12 given the fixtures.

Not much wrong with this..
That was a poor run, but let's not kid ourselves and pretend it's as bad as the last 7 games. There is always going to be critics because of the baggage as you say, however very few have also mentioned how the even more experienced Ancelotti also went through a similarly poor run of 7 games at the same point in last season after a good start whilst also having a lot less injuries and suspensions?
7, not 8.We had 1 win in 8 under Ancelotti last season which was against Fulham who were probably the worst side in the league at the time. In our last 8 games we have only beaten norwich who were probably the worst team in the league.

For one thing, in that run we got 2.5x as many points as we have in the last 7. Ancelotti also never shipped 5 at home to Watford.

Just had a quick gander at the Carlo thread from last season. Plenty of allowance for Carlo in that thread because of the injuries and overall poor quality of our squad both from a technical and mental perspective. Including from some of the posters who are not accepting injuries as a valid excuse for this current run. Make of that what you will.We had 1 win in 8 under Ancelotti last season which was against Fulham who were probably the worst side in the league at the time. In our last 8 games we have only beaten norwich who were probably the worst team in the league.
The simple answer to your second point is that if injuries weren't a factor, then rondon wouldn't be playing up front. Take the spine out of 90% of the teams in this league and they will struggle. Weve been without Richarlison, DCL, Doucoure, Mina for large sections of this season.
I remember it well.If you check the forum for the dates when we had that seven game run into December under Ancelotti, people were calling him a dinosaur, finished, wondering when we pull the trigger and sack him. I checked the other day, basically exactly the same.
Must have been Phantom bids eh.When was the money provided to sign them?
Very naive.
Paper talk nonsense they were.
His grudge against James and lies to create ill feel was indicative of what was to come. His gall in mentioning fitness whilst playing Rondon week in week out shows what we are dealing with. It seems we were handed the worst possible option and the kopites really will be all over shouts of agent Benitez. I expect it to be a theme at the game.I didn’t like the appointment of Benitez at first but was content as we were winning. We have regressed badly and a loss against Liverpool won’t be look good for him.
- His persistence on playing Rondon to justify the signing is a serious poor of judgment. Should of just kept Kean despite his behaviour.
- The return if zonal marking, reminds me of Silva’s defending
- The treatment of James, he was our only available “10” and pushed him to leave. James stated he was fit after the transfer window but was not selected for the upcoming cup or league game. When fit, he has most creative player.
- Apparently he declined the signing of Dumfries because he was not defensively minded and didn’t fit into his system
I have only offered this point of view to see the perspective that both managers went on similarly awful runs. Last years run was with a largely full fit side and were just as weak at the back (13 goals conceded in those 7 games you have shown) whilst having some threat at the top end of the pitch. That was a poor run, but let's not kid ourselves and pretend it's as bad as the last 7 games.

And he was slated for the run in towards the end ( rightly so )No. We did have 1 win in 7 under him late in the season. The end of season run-in last season was 3 wins in 13.
We won five of the last 15, all of those wins being 1-0. We actually only won by more than one goal just the once in 2021 under Ancelotti in the league, and that was bizarrely against Liverpool.
We were basically just as terrible under Ancelotti at the tail end of the campaign, but we had the quality players to bail us out and nick the odd win.
Rondon is playing because he's to much of a dinosaur to play either Simms or Dobbin, and I don't even mean starting he won't even bring them on when we are chasing games. We had 1 win in 8 under Ancelotti last season which was against Fulham who were probably the worst side in the league at the time.
