Quite a favourable FA cup draw, Brentford at home. Needs to get after them and get the crowd onside. Slow start like yesterday will be hideous at Goodison I feel. I hope Senor Benitez takes the competition seriously and goes for it.

Having watched Arsenal bottle it against Forest I feel a bit more sanguine about the performance yesterday. About time we got a bit of luck in one of those games.

But the issue is mate is who does with this squad?

Not many "pragmatic" managers knocking about these days that we would want to stick around for years.

It really is a shame Mina is injured as the likes of Keane and Godfrey are not too bad when they have a leader/organiser alongside them.

You’re making a different point to the one I’m making.

Benitez is not doing what he needs to in order to save his job. It’s the same fault that saw Martinez’s reign end. Results matter more than principles or vision.
