None of what you say makes Rondon more that a fat, unfit useless excuse for a player. If Benitez picks him and then unbelievably keeps him on when he should have subbed him to put him out of his misery, then I blame Benitez..

Thats all well and good but no other manager would do any better when the only alternative is some kid who's only on the bench as our first choice strikers are both crocked.

Benny will keep picking him until Dom is fit, because he has a favoured style of football, he won't deviate from the target man...

If we beat bad sides but lose to good we're no better off than we were last season and arguably further away from winning a trophy (beating a good side in a semi/final).
It’s about balance, we’ve reversed some bad results (winning at Brighton, beating Norwich, beating Burnley), had equivalent results (losing today, losing at Villa, drawing at United, beating Southampton) and reversed good results (drawing at Leeds)

...but its the constant agenda win, lose or draw thats tedious.

Well we'll see over the course of the season but we need to see how we fair against the big boys to judge. If we can't beat any of them but can reverse a bad result against Norwich that means nothing in the grand scale of things.

For the fourth game in a row, he has been dreadful. Surely giving Dobbin a half hour was a no lose situation? Forget the argument about whether or not he should have signed Rondon, not subbing him or Iwobi when they were woeful can't be a classed as a good decision on any level. I get your loyalty, even say fair play for sticking to your guns, but that can't be classed as a good management decision.

It depends mate - maybe Dobbin is worse than Rondon and the manager doesn't want to wreck his confidence putting him up against a solid WHU defence that has big physically strong international quality CB's.

Our fans are obsessed with young players ever since Rooney came in and rattled that goal in against Arsenal - Rooney was a freak and a one off. The last good player we've had come through is Barkley who no one on here even rates and Davies who is bang average.

If Carlo Ancelotti and Rafael Benitez dont trust starting the likes of Gordon its not because they are crap managers or just like trolling the Evertom fanbase maybe its because the likes of Gordon and Dobbin are just nowhere near ready for the Premier League.

That may be true for all we know but what does it do to a young lad's confidence when he doesn't get on with Rondon stinking the place out four on the trot. Also think Gordon did more than enough at United to justify his place.

Also, a bit of youthful desire was all that was needed to finish off a couple of excellent balls from, credit where credit is due, Benitez's two other signings.
