Another first.

In the 86-87 season we won 10 away matches, and as such we became the first club in top flight history to record 10 or more away wins in three consecutive seasons.

we held the record for the largest points total for a season, man ure took the record a few years back, but then, they did it when wins were given three points, we managed it when a win was worth two points.

i think it is the 86 season

First club to break the 6 figure transfer fee. Okay who?

A certain A, Ball Blackpool to Everton 1965/66

If I'm not mistaken he/we was the first Player/club to be sold for over £200,000 when he left for Arsenal in 71/72 for a fee of £220,000

Yep, story was Harry signed him in the back of a car if you can really believe that.

If I remember correctly Ballies dad was with them at the time urging him to sign for the blues although Matt Busby was sniffing round as well:P

I remembered this well all in my growing up ritual. Never was so down when I heard Bally left to Arsenal white boots and all. Tears flowed and I never in my life felt so let down.
