It's a Round of 16 DFB cup home tie against bottom second division team Magdeburg tonight which is one of the games you go into really confident but the German cup is always a bit nuts of upsets so we shall see. It's only a slightly rotated starting XI with Banzuzi, Klosti and Vandevoort coming in but nice to see 16-year old striker Samba Konate make the bench tonight after an impressive 8 in 10 start to this U19 season.

The choice of matches for you footie obsessed chodes is really crap tonight so why don't you join me over in Germany? RBL are away to one of the leagues in Union Berlin for a chance to temporarily close the gap on Bayern. 3rd Friday night game of the season (1 win, 1 defeat) so maybe a draw? Although Union have lost 2 on the spin so would be disappointing. RB's injury list just continues to grow with Nusa now out till January so it's Bakayoko taking his place for an otherwise unchanged lineup from the Frankfurt bumming.
