I was down that way this morning. I said Port Sunlight because I want to cut down on the melt factor.

Anywhere in Liverpool? Blue pub though, no red ****e.

Were meeting up before and after the game. why not meet up with us and either come the game or wait in the pub?

Any Blues in Port Sunlight/New Ferry/Bebington way want to meet up to watch the game on Sunday?

Is there any blue pubs in Bebington?? My sister lives there with her RS supporting boyfriend. I have been in The Wellington, The Rose & Crown, The Chronicle and The Acorn in Higher Bebington and all have mixtured support. I prefer watching games without being in the company of RS fans but it's difficult to find predominantly blue boozers.

I watched the Villa game in The Chronicle, and there were many Blues in there, but the pub is badly managed, and doesn't feel like a real pub atmosphere.

There is a pub in Saltney on the Chester Wales border called The Corner Pin, and they have actually wrote on the pub emblem outside, "Little Goodison", safe to say RS not welcome there.

I know what you mean about The Chronicle. Not my favourite pub that and what makes it worse is that i have watched us beaten twice in there by the RS. I will one day check out The Corner Pin, cheers for that Ghost. (y)

I watched the 5-1 defeat UEFA cup game a few seasons back in the Rose and Crown in Bebington. My g/f dragged me there for a meal, the horrid little RS cheered everytime the other team scored. Steua Bucarest(Sp), i think it was. I was fuming, but didnt kick off for the sake of my g/f. But if i was on my own or with a few mates i would have gone on a rampage.

But why dont you do what chris suggested Ghost, meet up for a few before the game, watch the game in a pub over the water and then meet up again after it. Im hoping to be there, so if you can cope with me giving you Nazi salutes and not hitting me, we would have fun chum.
