brussels appears to me to be an arm of the french and germans, and due to such perception i dont trust them, europe is still the horse trading two faced hypocritical union it has always been. and just because 'they' want to take on the (united) states does not warrant our surrender of our armed forces, our currency (the great british pound) and our laws that we live by.

It is ironic that the EU are looking to centralise things at their Brussels headquarters at a time when the Belgians have no government and are on the verge of breaking up into their Flemish and Walloon regions with Brussels itself the subject of a tug of war between the two.

as it stands currently due to the opposition to the original draft of the constitution it has been renamed and the promise labour made to give the nation a vote with regards the original constitution now allegedly doesnt count. (due to its being renamed)

the original constitution was voted against by both france and holland in national referendums.

If anyone is prepared to work, for me, there is no issue AS long as they abide by law.

its when the do gooder hippy well-offs start defending one and all that i get a bit steamed, foreign criminals, and foreigners that choose criminality on british shores should not be crammed into british prisons via way of british legal aid.

same goes for the burden on policing, the nhs, the housing system.
