We do. No question about that IMO.

We just need invention and a goal per game to make it pay.
Onana and doucoures height and engines will be massive. We can’t create like others teams so going to have to rely on set pieces and late runs into the box. Add in DCL if he stays fit, we could be so much better and set pieces.

Newcastle is massive for us due to it being at home and a night game. Need to use it to our advantage.

No ones mentioning goal difference much tonight, only points. We are worse than Leeds and Leicester. Not saying probably but possibly could let a fair few in, with no goals for againt N,castle and City.
Best case scenario for Leeds away to City is a 4-0 defeat. If City keep pushing then they should win 5-0 or 6-0 and that will do for goal difference. They just conceded 15 goals against Liverpool, Palace and Arsenal. City players likely have goal bonuses. They will want to fill their boots!

A good, proper 24/7 thread
I started today as usual with a strong coffee, a look at GOT - this thread included, then spent the rest of the day in the garden. Not long in, having a nice couple of beers and checking this thread.

Not quite 24/7 but I am 16/7 at least!!

Wish we would have had a manager this season, half as good as Unai Emery. Not saying a [Poor language removed] Emery
We’re only one goal difference and then behind on goals scored so make that two goals worse than Leeds who I think have the worse fixtures so if we do enough to make up the points, chances are we’ve made up the goals
Think we need a minimum - 1pt at Leicester {a}. 1pt at Wolves {a}. 3pts B,mouth {h} Cant see pts anywhere else.

Leeds run of City, Newcastle and West Ham is huge for us. They aren’t going to win any of those matches. Their goal differential is going to take a massive, massive hit. We just need pick up a couple of wins and a draw here and there.

Does this thread help with soberness?

The next two games offer us the chance for a massive win. If we beat Newcastle then great.

But if we dont and we go and beat Leicester we'll leapfrog them by 2 points and get ahead of Leeds too because by that point I'm pretty sure B'mouth will have beaten them.

We can create all these scenarios but it's really time the team got another win. Brentfrod seems an age ago.

A win in the next two game (preferably two!) is required as a matter of urgency.
